The 2010 Upstate Junior Classic will be held at Smithfields Country Club.
The tournament is open to all junior golfers ages 8 - 18 as of June 29th, 2010 and still enrolled in high school. The cost is $65 per golfer.
Entries must be submitted on the application form that can be downloaded from this page and received by 5pm on May 15th, 2010. The field is limited. The application fee is $65.00
Format:Individual stroke play.
Boys
- Ages 8-9 - Special tees: 9* holes
- Ages 10-12 - Red tees: 9* holes
- Ages 13-14 - Blue tees: 18 holes
- Ages 15-18 - Blue tees: 18 holes
Girls
- Ages 8-10 - Special tees: 9* holes
- Ages 11-13 - Red tees: 9* holes
- Ladies Tour: Ages 14-18 - Yellow tees: 18 holes
*9-holers will play the front nine one day and the back nine the other day.
Schedule:
- June 28 - Practice Round - 1 per player on a space available basis. Call the Smithfields Por Shop for arrangements at 864.859.9545.
- June 29 - Registration, First Round, Lunch.
- June 30 - Registration, First Round, Awards.
Caddies/Carts: - Caddies are prohibited. Spectator carts are not allowed unless medical conditions warrant.
Refunds: - A full refund will be granted if notice is given by June 1st, 2010.
